TRADITION
Cradle of Wine
The Eristavi family traces back hundreds of years to the mountainous Republic of Georgia, nestled on the Black Sea. It was here that viniculture begun as early as 6,000 B.C., and is considered by many experts the cradle of wine making. Master Vintner Victor Eristavi passionately instills a unique combination of old-world wine making techniques and modern technology to create his handcrafted wines while capturing the essence of distinct California grape varietals.

Grapes
Our fruit is sourced primarily from the renowned Napa and Sonoma Valleys at the peak of the harvest season in California. Picked by hand as a family, we personally select the highest quality grapes for production.
Winemaking
Although we have a wealth of excellent tools available, most of the processing we do is with traditional press and punchdown tools utilizing techniques passed down by every generation of Eristavi winemaker.
Taste
Aging our wine in traditional Georgian clay vessels known as Qvevri or French oak barrels, we allow the tannins to drop out and leave the fruit to achieve a complex flavor profile.
